Privacy Policy & Terms of Use – GoSeeYou and Ole section

Here is our privacy policy, conditions for users of the GoSeeYou mobile application, Olé section and website www.goseeyou.app. Please read our privacy policy carefully if you use our services. By using our website or application, you signify your acceptance of the practices described in this Policy.

Using our services for GoSeeYou (excluding the Ole section):

You agree to create a GoSeeYou profile with your first and last name comprising at least 3 clear photos of you, a respectable description, your age and access to your geolocation. Your profile could be hidden or banned without notice and without refund if one of these conditions is not met. No sensual or nudity photos will be accepted in the GoSeeYou section

Using our services for the Olé section:

You agree to create a profile providing photos of yourself and / or your spouse. You will be able to view photos without your face. The use of sensual photos is only accepted in the Olé section but no full nudity or vulgarity will be approved. In order to authenticate the profiles, a member of our team will contact you by video directly from the application in complete confidentiality during a “coucou” call which will be made within 14 days of your registration. After 3 unanswered attempts, your profile could be hidden or banned depending on the judgment of the person assigned to the account analysis. Users are invited to report any suspicious or disrespectful behavior and / or violating the integrity of a member.

Using any of our services:

We are not responsible for any incident that may occur following a contact created on the application. It is your responsibility to ensure your own safety.

It is your sole responsibility to decide whether or not the sending of photos via the application is relevant. We cannot be held responsible for anyone who may want to use your images for illegal purposes. It is your duty to think carefully before sending a message or image that could place you in delicate situations

Integrated purchases and subscriptions

If you have opted for a monthly subscription in one of the sections and have deactivated your account, it is your duty to go to your in-app purchases from your mobile device (Apple Store or Google Play) in order to cancel the automatic renewal as indicated during your initial subscription. No refund will be applied if you forget to do so.

By using our services, you agree to receive emails from the goSeeYou promotion team as well as notification and alert emails. You can choose to unsubscribe from this list by clicking on the dedicated link.

We reserves the right to terminate your account without a refund of any purchases if you have misused our services or behaved in a way that we regards as inappropriate or unlawful.

In App Purchases.

For specific features we offer products and services for purchase (“in app purchases”) through iTunes, Google Play or other application platforms authorized by us (each, a “Software Store”). If you choose to make an in app purchase, you will be prompted to enter details for your account with your Software Store (“your IAP Account”), and your IAP Account will be charged for the in app purchase in accordance with the terms disclosed to you at the time of purchase as well as the general terms for in app purchases that apply to your IAP Account. Some Software Stores may charge you sales tax, depending on where you live. If you purchase an auto-recurring periodic subscription through an in app purchase, your IAP Account will be billed continuously for the subscription until you cancel. After your initial subscription commitment period, and again after any subsequent subscription period, your subscription will automatically continue for an additional equivalent period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing. If you do not wish your subscription to renew automatically, or if you want to change or terminate your subscription, you will need to log in to your IAP account and follow instructions to cancel your subscription, even if you have otherwise deleted your account with us or the mobile application from your device.

Information collection.

Please note that we may collect information that may identify you, such as your name and email address and other information that does not identify you. We may collect this information via our website or mobile app. By using goSeeYou, you authorize us to collect, analyze and store data relating to the provision of the Service. When you provide personal information via our services, your information can be sent to servers located in Canada and around the world.

You will be able to log in to goSeeYou using your Facebook ID or email. You then allow us to access certain Facebook account information, such as your Facebook profile (according to your Facebook privacy settings), your e-mail address, interests, tastes, gender, birthday, school history, hometown, photos, personal description, friends list and information and photos of your Facebook friends who could be Facebook friends with other goSeeYou users. You will also be prompted to allow goSeeYou to collect your location information on your device when you download or use goSeeYou. We may collect and store all personal information you provide when using our services. This may include credentials, such as your name, address, email address and phone number. You can also provide us with photos, a personal description and information about your gender and preferences for recommendations, such as search distance, age range and gender. If you are discussing with other users of goSeeYou, you provide us with the content of your conversations, and if you contact us via our customer service or for another investigation, this communication could be recorded.

We collect information automatically from your browser or device when you visit our service. This information may include your IP address, the ID and type of your device, the type and language of your browser, the operating system used by your device, access times, the location of your mobile device while our application is activated and the address of the referring site. When you visit our service, we may assign your device one or more cookies to facilitate access to our service and personalize your experience. Through the use of a cookie, we may also automatically collect information about your activity on our Service, such as the pages you visit, the time and date of your visits and the links you click on. If we advertise, we (or third parties) may use certain data collected from our services to publish goSeeYou ads on other sites or applications.

Mobile Device ID: If you use our app, we use mobile device identifiers (the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer) or advertising IDs (for iOS 6 and later) to recognize you. We do this to store your preferences and track your use of our app. Unlike cookies, device IDs cannot be deleted, but ad IDs can be reset to "Settings" on your iPhone. Ad companies also use device IDs or ad IDs to track your use of the app, track the number of ads displayed, measure ad performance, and show ads that are more relevant to you. Analysis companies use device IDs to track application usage information. We may authorize service providers, advertising companies, advertising networks and other third parties to post advertisements on our Service. When you register as a goSeeYou user, your profile will be visible to other users of the Service. Other users (and in the case of any sharing features available on goSeeYou, individuals or applications with which a SeeYou user can choose from you with sharing) will be able to view the information you have provided us directly or through Facebook, such as your Facebook photos, additional photos you upload, your first name, your age, approximate distance, your personal description, and the information you have in common with the person viewing your profile, as common Facebook friends and likes. If you chat with your match, of course, your match will see your conversation’s content.

Information disclosure.

We do not share your personal information with others except as stated in this privacy policy or when we inform you and give you the opportunity to not share your personal information. We may share personal information with some of our service providers. We may share information, including personal and financial information, with third parties who perform certain services on our behalf. For the protection of all our users including you, we may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can authenticate you. You will comply with this Agreement and all applicable local, provincial and international laws, rules and regulations. To use the Application you must never have been convicted of a crime and you are not required to register as a sex offender in a country, local or federal sex offender registry.

Deactivation of your account and deletion of your data

To deactivate your account go to the SETTINGS section of the application and click on deactivate. All data related to your profile will be automatically deleted from the platform immediately and then completely deleted from the system within 30 days. You can contact service@goseeyou.app directly to request the immediate deletion of all your data in the system before this period if desired.

Data collected via Facebook registrations

When you register you have the choice to create an account from your email or directly through your Facebook profile. In this case, information such as your first name, last name, date of birth and sex will be automatically entered in your GoSeeYou profile. GoSeeYou will not use this information, which you can change at any time.
